St. Louis-Jefferson Solid Waste
Independent Financial Audit
The St Louis-Jefferson Solid Waste Management District is seeking proposals to conduct annual independent financial audits in accordance with Generally Accepted Auditing Standards and applicable Missouri Department of Natural Resources regulations and guidelines. District Audits must also meet Uniform Guidance requirements. The District is a regional political entity dedicated to expanding waste reduction and recycling in St. Louis City, St. Louis County, Jefferson and St. Charles Counties. The District has an operating budget of approximately $450,000.00 annually, with a staff of four employees. The District also provides approximately $2 million annually in grant for waste reduction and recycling projects to local governments, non-profit organizations, and private businesses.
