Metro North Fire District is seeking Sealed Bids for concrete tearout and replacement at 1815 Chambers Rd.Bid is to Tear out and replace apx. 34ft X14ft 8inches thick with rebar and wire mesh. There are 3 manhole covers 24 inches round with anchors in concrete and two 12 inch water box covers free standing. The concrete needs to be replaced with wire mesh and rebar on two ft centers. The 3 manhole covers need to be replaced at 28 inches round 3/8th in thick with 6 anchors in each.The water stop boxes will remain. Metro North also needs a patio deck jacked up apx. 3/4 to 1 inch 20 foot long and new steel angle iron needs to be fastened to the foundation on 12 inch centers. The concrete caulking needs to be removed and replaced with 1/2 inch backer rod installed against the foundation apx. 140 ft.
