NOTICE OF HEARING CITY PLAN COMMISSION OF KANSAS CITY MISSOURI October 6, 2020 9:00 am The City Plan Commission will hold a public hearing on this request at 9:00 AM on Tuesday October 6, 2020. Traditionally this hearing is held in the Council Chamber at City Hall. However, due to the COVID-19 Pandemic this may not be possible and staff is pursuing alternatives that would allow you to watch the hearing online via YouTube and Zoom platform and will make accommodation for you to offer written testimony in lieu of verbal testimony. Details regarding how to view the hearing and provide testimony will be confirmed on planning@kcmo.gov no later than 48 hours prior to the hearing. CD-CPC-2020-00138 A request to approve a rezoning from Districts R-7.5 (Residential 7.5) and R-2.5 (Residential 2.5) to District MPD (Master Planned Development), and approval of a development plan allowing for a mix of uses that includes; residential, office, conference facilities, and the preservation and protection of natural resource areas (Blue Oak Learning Academy and Nature Conservancy) on about 24 acres generally located at the northeast corner of NW 72nd Street and NW Waukomis Drive. CD-SUP-2020-00042 A request to approve a special use permit in District R-6 (Residential dash 6) on about 5 acres generally located at 5100 N. CD-SUP-2020-00035 A request to approve a special use permit for a non-accessory surface parking lot on about 2.6 acres generally located at 311 E 12th Street. CD-SUP-2020-00037 A request to approve a special use permit on about 0.3 acres in District B3-2 (Community Business dash 2), generally located at 463 Donnelly Avenue and 460 Wallace Avenue, to allow for fuel sales, plus any other necessary variances. CD-SUP-2020-00034 7445 Prospect Ave - A request to approve a Special Use Permit to allow construction of a convenience store of about 3700 square feet for gasoline and fuel sales in District B3-2 (Community Business 2) on about 0.84 acres generally located at the northeast corner of E 75th Street and Prospect Avenue, plus any necessary variances. CD-SUP-2020-00040 A request to approve a special use permit to allow Type 2 short term rental, year around, when consent cannot be obtained for 3501 E 106th Terrace on approximately 0.244 acre in District R-7.5 (Residential 7.5) CD-SUP-2020-00038 A request to approve a special use permit to allow Type 2 short term rental, year around, when consent cannot be obtained for 10636 Walrond Avenue on approximately 0.217 acre in District R-7.5 (Residential 7.5) CD-SUP-2020-00039 A request to approve a special use permit to allow Type 2 short term rental, year around, when consent cannot be obtained for 10638 Bales on approximately 0.195 acre in District R-7.5 (Residential 7.5) CD-SUP-2020-00043 A request to approve a special use permit in District R-6 (Residential dash 6) on about 28.7 acres generally located at 6400 NE 52nd Street, to allow for the construction of a new elementary school, plus any necessary variances. CD-SUP-2020-00041 A request to approve a special use permit in District R-7.5 (Residential dash 7.5) on about 69.1 acres generally located at 9201 N. Indiana Avenue, to allow for an addition to a school, plus any necessary variances. CD-CPC-2020-00140 A request to approve a development plan in District R-80 (Residential 80) to allow for multiple residential structures on one lot. on about 38 acres generally located on the north side of E. 107th Street between Lane Avenue on the east and James A. Reed Road on the west. If Council action is required following the action by the Commission, the case will be placed on a future City Council Docket for final decision.
