NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
BEFORE THE WAYS AND MEANS COMMITTEE OF THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI
Please be advised that on Thursday, January 24 at 9:00 AM at the City of St. Louis City Hall, 1200 Market Street, St. Louis, MO 63103 ("City Hall"), the Ways and Means Committee of the Board of Aldermen of the City of St. Louis ("City") will hold a public hearing to consider a Petition to Amend the Petition to Establish the La Collina Community Improvement District ("Petition") pursuant to the Community Improvement District Act, Sections 67.1401 to 67.1571 of the Revised Statutes of Missouri, as amended. The Petition was filed with the City Register for the City, and seeks to amend the Petition to Establish the La Collina Community Improvement District ("CID").
The real property within the boundaries of the proposed CID consists of approximately 10.9 acres being more particularly described as:
A TRACT OF LAND IN BLOCKS 4084, 4085, 4092 AND 4093 OF THE CITY OF ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI, INCLUDING FORMER WILSON AVENUE, 60 FEET WIDE, VACATED UNDER PROVISIONS OF ORDINANCE NO. 41855 AND FORMER BOARDMAN STREET, 50 FEET WIDE, VACATED UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF ORDINANCES NUMBERED 17069 AND 24799, AND DESCRIBED AS: BEGINNING AT THE INTERSECTION OF THE NORTH LINE OF BISCHOFF AVENUE AND THE EAST LINE OF HEREFORD STREET, THENCE NORTH ALONG SAID EAST LINE OF HEREFORD STREET 553 FEET 9 3/4 INCHES TO A POINT 152 FEET 11 1/4 INCHES NORTH OF THE NORTH LINE OF FORMER WILSON AVENUE VACATED UNDER PROVISIONS OF ORDINANCE NO. 41855, THENCE EAST AND PARALLEL TO THE NORTH LINE OF FORMER WILSON AVENUE, 118 FEET, THENCE NORTH 177 FEET 11 INCHES, MORE OR LESS, TO THE SOUTH LINE OF DAGGETT AVENUE, THENCE EAST ALONG THE SAID SOUTH LINE OF DAGGETT AVENUE 577 FEET 6 INCHES, MORE OR LESS, TO THE APPROXIMATE CENTER LINE OF A DRIVEWAY, WHICH POINT IS 322 FEET, MORE OR LESS, WEST OF WEST LINE OF KINGSHIGHWAY BOULEVARD, THENCE SOUTH ALONG THE SAID APPROXIMATE CENTER LINE OF SAID DRIVEWAY, 327 FEET, MORE OR LESS, TO THE CENTER LINE OF AN EXISTING RAILROAD SPUR TRACK, THENCE EAST ALONG SAID CENTER LINE OF SAID EXISTING RAILROAD SPUR TRACK 185 FEET, MORE OR LESS, TO THE NORTHWEST LINE OF THE MISSOURI PACIFIC RAILROAD RIGHT OF WAY 66 FEET WIDE, THENCE SOUTHWEST ALONG THE SAID NORTHWEST LINE OF SAID MISSOURI PACIFIC RAILROAD RIGHT OF WAY TO THE NORTH LINE OF BISCHOFF AVENUE, THENCE WEST ALONG SAID NORTH LINE OF BISCHOFF AVENUE 420 FEET 7 1/8 INCHES TO THE EAST LINE OF HEREFORD STREET, THE POINT OF BEGINNING
THE RIGHTS OF WAY OF DAGGETT AVENUE ON THE NORTH, HEREFORD STREET ON THE WEST, AND BISCHOFF AVENUE ON THE SOUTH, ADJACENT TO AND CONTIGUOUS WITH THE ABOVE-DESCRIBED PROPERTY
BUT EXCLUDING THEREFROM THOSE CERTAIN PROPERTIES LOCATED IN CITY BLOCK 4085 AND FRONTING ON THE EAST SIDE OF HEREFORD STREET, BEING NUMBERED AS 2002 HEREFORD, 2004 HEREFORD, 2006 HEREFORD, 2008 HEREFORD, 2010 HEREFORD, 2012 HEREFORD, AND 2014 HEREFORD
(all within the City). A map of the boundaries of the CID is provided below.
The Petition is available for review at the office of the City Register for the City located at Room 118, City Hall, during regular business hours on weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
All interested persons shall be given the opportunity to be heard at the public hearing.
