NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Variance Application 18-14-BA - Bellingrath Gardens Ave., Hyde Park Ave. & Luxembourg Gardens Court
A public hearing will be held on Variance Application 18-14-BA, made by Stonemoor HOA, applicant on behalf of property owner, DNI Properties, is requesting a deviation from Article II District Regulations - Section 405.270 "Planned Development District," Subsection "e" - "Density and Area Regulations and Performance Standards," Number (4) - "Perimeter Buffer Requirements," Letters "a" and "b." The request is to amend the requirement within Ordinance 2664 and the associated 'Final Development Plan', approved by the City on December 27, 2006, that trees be planted and maintained approximately every 10 feet within the 20 feet wide landscape buffer established pursuant to Section 405.270(e)(4)(a) and (b) of the City's Zoning Code. Pursuant to this appeal, the landscape buffer easement upon the affected properties will not be eliminated, but only the maintenance requirements under Section 405.270(e)(4)(b) for the existing trees will be eliminated. The site is located generally west of Bellingrath Gardens Avenue along the south side of Hyde Park Avenue and lots which front Hyde Park Avenue to the south. This appeal is also affecting the rear yard areas of lots south of Luxembourg Gardens Court.
The meeting date is Thursday, January 10, 2019 at 6 p.m. at Wentzville City Hall in the Board Chambers, 1001 Schroeder Creek Blvd., Wentzville, MO 63385. The City of Wentzville invites all interested parties the opportunity to give written and/or oral comments on public matters. The application, submitted plan and documentation as received from the applicant concerning the above Variance Application request are available for review at the Community Development Department, 1001 Schroeder Creek Blvd., during regular business hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
