INVITATION TO BIDSealed bids for Building Demolition Services at 2810 Fee Fee Road will be received by the City of Maryland Heights, 11911 Dorsett Road, Maryland Heights, MO 63043, until, July 8, 2024, 3:00 PM CST. All documents necessary to submit a bid will be available from the City of Maryland Heights. Bid packages will be available beginning June 11, 2024, from the City of Maryland Heights, Missouri 63043. The scope of work includes the demolition of 2810 Fee Fee Road including the building, shed, fencing, and paved surfaces, as well as debris removal. Not less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages shall be paid to all workmen performing under this contract in this area according to the rates determined by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations of the State of Missouri. The successful bidder shall comply with the requirements of RSMo § 292.675. The requirements include on-site employees to complete the ten (10) hour Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Construction Safety Program, which includes a course in construction safety and health approved by OSHA or a similar program approved by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations. For any contract greater than $5,000, the successful bidder shall comply with RSMo § 285.530, as amended and by sworn affidavit affirming that it does not knowingly employee any person who is an unauthorized alien and participation in a federal work authorization program with respect to the employees working in connection with this contract. The required documentation must be from the federal work authorization program provider. A letter from contractors reciting compliance is not sufficient. The City of Maryland Heights reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to waive any irregularities in the best interest of the City. A Bid may not be modified, withdrawn or cancelled by the bidder within sixty (60) days following the time and date designated for the receipt of bids, and each bidder so agrees in submitting his bid.
