Notice of Public Hearing (Case Number: CUP-24-02)Notice is hereby given that the Plan Commission of University City will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at 6:30 pm at Heman Park Community Center, 975 Pennsylvania Ave, to consider CUP-24-02, an application for a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) for the properties located at 8200-8206 Delmar Boulevard and 558, 564, and 568 Mapleview Drive. The proposed use is place of worship, which is a permitted use in the zoning districts in which the subject properties are located. The requested CUP would allow for: 1) A reduction of up to 20% in the number of required off-street parking spaces, per 400.2700(D)(2). 2) A shared parking arrangement with the owners of 8220 Delmar Boulevard for the use of 12 parking spaces, per 400.2130(D). 3) An increase in the maximum site coverage from 70% to 71%, per 400.460(D). 4) A principal building which exceeds 3,500 square feet of gross floor area, which is considered a conditional use in the Limited Commercial District (LC), per 400.440(A).
