Brentwood Blvd., Brentwood, MO 63144-2097 will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, May 20, 2024 at 7:00 P.M. on: Text Amendments to Division 2 Home Occupations of Article V Supplemental Regulations of the City's Zoning Ordinance to Comply with Recent State Legislation that does not allow the City to enumerate permissible or prohibited home businesses, or require a business license. Instead, the City can enact only certain regulations to ensure that the business does not adversely impact the residential neighborhood. Staff has drafted the regulations, within the confines of the City's limited authority, to address maximum occupancy of structures, parking, traffic, exterior conditions and other effects from home-based businesses. These amendments will ensure that the City's regulations of home occupations are consistent with this recent state law. This meeting is open to the public. As provided in the Zoning Regulations of Brentwood Missouri, the above items will be discussed and considered by the Planning and Zoning Commission for recommendation to the Board of Aldermen and all persons interested in said matter will have an opportunity to be heard.
