NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING before the CITY OF WILDWOOD HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION May 23, 2024 (Thursday), at 6:30 p.m.The Historic Preservation Commission of the City of Wildwood will conduct a public hearing on Thursday, May 23, 2024, in the City Hall Council Chambers, 16860 Main Street, Wildwood, Missouri 63040, and also via an online meeting platform (Zoom - link is available on City's website). This public hearing is for the purpose of obtaining testimony regarding a request to place a certain structure, building, and/or property (historic element) onto the City's Historic Registry, which will then be considered for action. This hearing is open to all interested parties to comment upon this request, whether in favor or opposition, or provide additional input for consideration. If you do not have comments regarding this request, no action is required on your part. Written comments are requested to be submitted by 5:00 p.m. (CST), Wednesday, May 22, 2024, and addressed to the Historic Preservation Commission, City of Wildwood, 16860 Main Street, Wildwood, Missouri 63040 or via the City's website at www.cityofwildwood.com/comment. All comments will become part of the official record regarding this request. The following request will be considered at this time: H.R. 2-24 G. Stephen Scott, 3900 Tamara Trail, Wildwood, Missouri 63069 - A request to place a single-family dwelling, which is located at 3900 Tamara Trail (Locator Number: 26X510023), known as the Heiman House, c. 1859, per the Wildwood Historic Building Inventory, and 1905, per the St. Louis County Department of Revenue - Assessor's Office, on the City's Historic Register. This tract of land is zoned NU Non-Urban Residence District. The owner submitted an application to place this building onto the City's Historic Register, with the intent to retain its use as a residential dwelling. No incentives have been requested.
