ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS 2024 ASPHALT OVERLAY PROGRAMBids for the 2024 Asphalt Overlay Program will be accepted electronically using the QuestCDN® website (City of Grandview - Projects (questcdn.com)) until 2:00 P.M. on the 9th day of April, 2024 Bids submitted by QuestCDN® are subject to a fee. Bids submitted after the bid acceptance deadline will not be accepted. The contract provides for an overlay of twenty three (23) segments of streets ranging from approximately 900 SY to approximately 11,000 SY. Project scope consists of approximately 80,795 SY of 2” and 22,025 SY of 4” cold milling, 14,135 TONS of asphalt overlay, 4,880 SY of full-depth asphalt (8 IN) cut and patch, 13,853 LF of concrete curb, and gutter replacement, 3,900 SF of 4 IN concrete sidewalk replacement, 920 SF of new concrete sidewalk extension, 4,380 SF of 6 IN concrete ADA sidewalk ramp, 7,000 LF of painted symbols / lane markings, 1,800 SY of hydroseed, 49 ADA wet set in concrete warning panels, respective traffic control and mobilization for this project. The successful bidder may be required to provide references concerning its experience in this type of work and proof of either ownership or lease of equipment that will be utilized to construct this project. All wages paid for work under this Contract shall comply with requirements of the prevailing wage law of the State of Missouri, Missouri Public Law 294, Sec. 290.210 through 290.340, R.S. Mo. 1969, as amended. The project is subject to the requirements of RSMo Sec. 292.675 concerning worker safety.
