Board of Adjustment Meeting
Notice of Public Hearing(s)Notice is hereby given that the Board of Adjustment of the City of Wentzville, Missouri, will conduct its March 14, 2024 meeting in person inside the Board Chambers at City Hall. It is anticipated that the Board members and City staff will attend this meeting in person, but they may attend by phone or video conference.
The public is invited to provide comments on any Public Hearing topic on the agenda in the methods listed below. Public comments are recommended to be submitted by noon on the day prior to a meeting date. Any comments received after the deadline may be emailed to the Board of Adjustment or placed in the application file for public record depending upon when the comments are received.
· Attend the meeting in person in the Board Chambers at City Hall;
· If you received a letter from the City about an application and would like to offer written comments, please utilize the form provided and mail it to the Board of Adjustment Chairman, Planning Division, 1001 Schroeder Creek Blvd., Wentzville, MO 63385 by noon on March 13, 2024;
· Drop off the above-referenced form or your comment letter to Community Development staff or in the City's Utility Payment Drop Box in the circular drive in front of City Hall at 1001 Schroeder Creek Blvd. (include the application number on the letter), by noon on March 13, 2024, to the attention of Planning Division;
· Complete the online comment form at: www.wentzvillemo.gov/publiccomments.
Public Hearing(s):
Variance Application 24-03-BA, made by Keimar Contracting, LLC, applicant on behalf of property owners, Tim and Amy Wagner, are requesting a deviation from Article II District Regulations - Section 405.170.d.5 "R-1A" through "R-1E" Single-Family Residential Districts - Regulations and performance standards - Maximum lot coverage. The request is to allow an increase in the allowable lot coverage from the 35% required by Wentzville's Code to 37.5% to accommodate a proposed deck expansion at the rear of the lot. The site is located on the south side of Victoria Park Avenue, approximately 380 feet west of Golden Gate Parkway with an address of 235 Victoria Park Ave
The public hearing date is Thursday, March 14, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. before the Board of Adjustment inside the Board Chambers at City Hall.
The City of Wentzville invites all interested parties the opportunity to give written and/or oral comments on public matters. The application(s) and documentation concerning the above request(s) are available for review during regular business hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
