NOTICE OF HEARING
CITY PLAN COMMISSION OF KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI
Tuesday, November 20, 2018
In the Council Chambers on the 26th Floor of City Hall, 414 E. 12th Street, Kansas City, Missouri, the City Plan Commission will hold a public hearing commencing at 9:00 a.m. on the following matters:
CD-CPC-2018-00159 - Creating the Plaza Bowl Overlay District in the area generally located on the south and north sides of 47th Street (extending northerly to the north side of 46th Terrace), between Madison Avenue on the west and J.C. Nichols Parkway on the east so as to establish height and use regulations.
CD-CPC-2018-00186 - To consider approval of a development plan in B2-2 (Neighborhood Business 2), on about 12 acres generally located at the northeast corner of I-435 and NE Shoal Creek Parkway, to allow for religious assembly use.
CD-CPC-2018-00188 - Rezoning an area generally bounded by W. 52nd Street on the north, Summit Street on the east, W. 55th Street on the south, and Belleview Avenue on the west from District R-6 (Residential 6) to District R-10 (Residential 10).
CD-SUP-2018-00138 -- Request to approve a special use permit to allow short term rental in a single family dwelling located at 5210 Woodland Avenue in District R-6 (Residential 6).
CD-CPC-2018-00179 - Request to rezone approximately 97.7 acres generally located on the north side of N.E. 104th Street and 2,150 ft. east of Missouri Highway 291, from Districts R-7.5 (Residential, 7,500 sq. ft. per unit) and R-80 (Residential, 80,000 sq. ft. per unit) to District R-7.5 (Residential, 7,500 sq. ft. per unit)
CD-CPC-2018-00190 - Request to approve the preliminary plat of Creekside on approximately 97.7 acres generally located on the north side of N.E. 104th Street and 2,150 ft. east of Missouri Highway 291, to allow creation of 209 single family residential lots and several tracts in from District R-7.5 (Residential, 7,500 sq. ft. per unit)
CD-CPC-2018-00187-520 Armour-- A request to approve a rezoning from District R-0.5 (Residential 0.5) and R-2.5 (Residential 2.5) to District UR (Urban Redevelopment) and approval of a preliminary plat and development plan to allow for the construction of a 7 story residential structure on about 0.7 acres generally located at the northwest corner of Armour Blvd and Cherry St.
CD-CPC-2018-00210--A request to approve a rezoning from District DC-15 (Downtown Core) to District UR (Urban Redevelopment) and a preliminary development plan for the redevelopment of the former Lyric Opera to a Downtown YMCA located at 222 W 11th Street.
