REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
The Planned Industrial Expansion Authority of Kansas City, Missouri will accept proposals until 4 P.M. CDT by Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at the office of the Executive Director, 1100 Walnut St. Suite 1700, Kansas City, Missouri 64106, for the redevelopment of property located at 19th and Oak in the 19th and Oak PIEA Area, legally described below:

BEGINNING AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF BLOCK 7, MCGEE PLACE THENCE EAST TO THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF BLOCK 8, MCGEE PLACE; THENCE SOUTH ALONG THE WEST LINE OF SAID BLOCK 8, TO THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF LOT 30, OF SAID BLOCK 8; THENCE EAST ALONG THE NORTH LINE OF SAID LOT 30 TO THE CENTER OF THE VACATED ALLEY IN SAID BLOCK 8; THENCE SOUTH ALONG THE CENTER OF VACATED ALLEY OF SAID BLOCK 8 TO THE NORTH RIGHT OF WAY LINE OF EAST 20TH STREET; THENCE WEST ALONG THE NORTH RIGHT OF WAY LINE OF SAID EAST 20TH STREET, TO THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF SAID BLOCK 7; THENCE NORTH ALONG THE WEST LINE OF SAID BLOCK 7 TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING, ALL BEING IN THE CITY OF KANSAS CITY MISSOURI.
Proposals must include: A narrative statement describing the proposed development, architects perspective, drawing or illustrative site plans or sketches, estimated time for development, and a statement of the developer's legal and financial qualifications to undertake and complete the proposed development.
There is available at the offices of the Planned Industrial Expansion Authority, 1100 Walnut St. Suite 1700, Kansas City, Missouri 64106, information for prospective developers, including the 19th and Oak Development Plan, as approved by the City Council of Kansas City, Missouri. These materials may be obtained in person or by mail.
Selection of the successful proposal will be made by the Authority in accordance with the objectives of the 19th and Oak General Development Plan for the City of Kansas City, Missouri, as a whole, after approval by appropriate governmental entities.
