NOTICE OF HEARING BOARD OF ZONING ADJUSTMENT CITY OF KANSAS CITY, MO. Tuesday, February 27, 2018 In the Council Chambers on the 26th Floor, 414 E. 12th St., Kansas City, Missouri, the Board of Zoning Adjustment will hold a public hearing commencing at 1:00 pm on the following matters: Case No. 14929-A – A request to approve a variance to the front and rear yard setback requirements in District R-1.5 (Residential 1.5) on about 0.12 acres generally located on the south side of Pacific Street between Troost Avenue to the west and Forest Avenue to the east to allow for the construction of a single family residence, plus any other necessary variances. Case No. – 14934-A - 1230 Huntington – A request to approve a variance to the minimum side yard setback and minimum separation distance between two structures on the same lot in District R-6 (Residential 6) on about 0.31 acres generally located on the north side of Huntington Road between Ward Parkway to the east and State Line Road to the west to allow for the construction of a detached garage, plus any other necessary variances. Case No. 14925-A - 231 E. Winthrope Road - A residential property generally located on the south side of E Winthrope Road in between Grand Avenue to the west and Oak Street to the east, to consider a request for a variance to the minimum side yard setback requirement to allow for construction of an addition, plus any other necessary variances. Case No. 14926-A - 6984 Valley Road - A residential property generally located at the northwest corner of W 70th Street and Valley Road, to consider a request for a variance to the minimum front yard setback requirement to allow for construction of an covered porch, plus any other necessary variances. Case No. 9691-A-32 - 13701 Washington Street - A property generally located on the east side of Washington Street approximately 250 feet north of W 138th Terrace, to consider a request for a variance to the requirement that fences surrounding self-storage uses that abut public right-of-way shall be wrought iron or other similar decorative metal fencing, plus any other necessary variances.
